You should be stretching every day, but the Stretch of the Day for August 9, 2007 is:
Straddle Lying Forward on the Floor
Sit in your straddle and slowly let your body drop forward as far as gravity will take you. Hold this stretch until it begins to feel numb, then pull yourself back to sitting, take a few breaths, and repeat. Make sure you keep your knees straight and turned out, and that you keep your feet (not just your toes) pointed. This will stretch your legs and your core.
